I love to see a good looking couple. I always tell the other half of my couple that we need to look like we are going to the same place. That doesn’t mean we must coordinate or even compliment. It’s just a succinct way to remember if we’re going to a cocktail party, I shouldn’t look like I’m headed to the opera and he shouldn’t look like he’s going to a baseball game. This is my 1000th post! I’m thrilled about this milestone. I’m exceedingly grateful for the encouragement, kind words and new friendships I’ve received through The Window Shopper. I wanted to make this 1000th post special for me and for those of you reading…so I called in a few favors. Mallory shot my wedding and she is extremely talented so I was overjoyed when she consented to take a few pictures of me outside of my office’s bathroom. Mallory introduced me to Mollie,  an incredible makeup artist that got me camera-ready.

We did several different looks and this was one of my favorites (more to come!). The coral blazer is actually part of a two piece set, it goes with a dress that has a really cool cutout back that I’m looking forward to wearing this summer. The pink sequin collar was a wedding gift from my friends at Cheap Thrills. It really is amazing to live in a smaller town where you can forge relationships with the people at the stores you love. When I approached Cheap Thrills and Grey Dog about collaborating with me on a giveaway they were excited, helpful and very generous.
